When Joe Joe and Balan came in with their gorgeous children, all dressed in black, their stunning skin tones and radiant smiles filled my heart with joy. I had seen other photos they had done in the past which were somewhat formal. When we started, everyone was a bit stiff. One of the kids needed to get some water, and while we took a break, I watched the kids playing with Balan. There was love and laughter, teasing, ease. I said to Joe Joe and Balan, can we do some fun, silly photos? Yes. Gabriel, Kiran and Maya started climbing all over their Mom and Dad, there was a completely different feel. The energy shifted, we all had a great time and the photos reflected the closeness the family has with each other.
