An additional $100 is optional for different groupings or combinations during your sitting.

Fee includes personal consultation before and after the sitting and assistance in choosing your images. This fee is processed at the time of booking the appointment and is non-refundable. Should you need to reschedule we are happy to accommodate. When possible we appreciate being given 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule.

Consider rescheduling if you think your child is ill; your child has unwanted cuts, scratches, bruises; you will be more than 15 minutes late; you aren’t happy with your child’s haircut.

In treasuring the generational photos of my family, I take pride in creating an archive or historical record for you. Photo art prints are mounted and signed on an acid free board, ready to be matted and framed. You leave with a priceless artifact to treasure for years to come. Photo art prints are cropped to best suit the image rather than fitting a specific size paper, allowing us to create a more powerful image. VALUE PRINTS

Value prints are printed and presented as is – not mounted or signed. We don’t know how long the photos will last and unlike photo art prints, we do not guarantee them. Value prints must be cropped to specific sizes, which can alter the overall photo composition, thus there is often more or less in the photo than I prefer. I make minor adjustments to the tonal range and send them to be printed on a paper such as you would see at a quick photo place. Although the value prints look good, they are not made to last and do not have the rich depth and look of a photo art print. We recommend you invest in photo art prints when purchasing photos for yourselves to pass on to your children or family members. Value prints provide a wonderful opportunity to gift professional photos to friends and loved ones without spending the money you would spend on photo art. They are also great for ordering prints you find fun or interesting. In cases where you wish to take advantage of the affordability for personal enjoyment, we recommend getting at least the 8 x 10 size as larger sizes do more justice to the photos.

PHOTO ART

PHOTO ART BOOKS are photo albums that are flush mount with thick, lay-flat pages. All photo art book albums have a custom photo cover and are printed on high quality paper. When designing a photo art book, we put extra care and thought into where the photos are placed, what photos will make an interesting background and how subtle or bold it should be. We incorporate words, phrases and poetry in a complimentary manner, select photographs that go well together on a spread to create energy and continuity that draws you into the page and put our hearts into the book as if it were our own. The photo art book is a work of art carrying you back to moments in time, remembering the relationships, the family members, the friendships, the love. It is a PRICELESS and heartfelt way to document your family history.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

RETOUCHING: $50.00/hour

PROOF BOOK: $45.00. Contact sheets with multiple images are bound together with a spiral coil, a clear acetate cover, and a black card stock back. Available in an 8.5 x 11 vertical with 4-8 images per page based on the number of final images chosen. With filenames listed below each image, this proof book provides easy reference to future orders.

ADD-ON 2.5 x 3.5 WALLETS: $20 per sheet of 8 images with a minimum of 3 sheets. Must accompany the purchase of a photo art or value print order.

FOLDED 5 x 7 CARDS: $2.50 each with a minimum of 25 cards and additional increments of 25. Includes envelopes and design time.

YEARBOOK IMAGE: $50.00. The image is sent directly to the school. We must have specifications at time of ordering.

MARKETING/BRANDING IMAGES: $100.00 for each image. We offer limited use rights for head shots and professional use. An 8 x 10, 200 dpi resolution, is provided via email.

SOCIAL MEDIA/WEB ADD-ON: $25.00 for each image with the purchase of a photo art print, value print or marketing/branding image. For use on social media sites such as facebook, LinkedIn, etc.  All social media add-ons are formatted 4 x 6, 100 dpi resolution and include the www.katytartakoff.com logo. They are provided via email.
