I met Joe and his wife at an opening reception we had in our studio at Taxi 105. Months later, Joe called and said he wanted something special for his wife’s 50th birthday. His first thought was photos of their family. I agreed to come in on a Sunday. Their son would fly in from New York, their daughter from San Francisco. Joe shared with me that his wife cried when she opened the gift certificate we made and packaged for him.
